Both of these projects continue the efforts to share the most pristine river on Delmarva with water enthusiasts. Seaford is conveniently located within an hour's drive of six beautiful beaches. The Seaford Museum is located on High Street and serves as a repository for items of significance in the history of Seaford. The Original map of Seaford is there and many treasures of years gone by. Soon there will be a special exhibit from the DuPont Company highlighting the development of nylon which was first manufactured in Seaford. The Nanticoke Riverfest is an event held annually in beautiful downtown Seaford. The event features fun for all members of the family including: the signature Float-in, duck dash, canoe & kayak races, live entertainment, a youth fishing tournament, pageant, car show, motorcycle show, food vendors, craft vendors and much more!
