Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy Jobs in
Richmond, Kentucky

There are over one hundred buildings on the National Register of Historic Places in the city founded in 1798 by Colonel John Miller. Nearby Fort Boonesbourough is home to Daniel Boone’s fort on the Kentucky River. Enjoy onsite camping, crafts, the pool or play a round of miniature golf. The oldest pottery west of the Alleghenies, Bybee Pottery, is a huge draw for the locals, as well as visitors. Be sure to take a ride on Kentucky’s oldest continuous business- the Valley View Ferry. Or take a glimpse of the future at the Hummel Planetarium. Located on the campus of Eastern Kentucky University, it the fourth largest planetarium of it’s kind in the world. Get in a little exercise at Gibson Bay Golf Course, located on gorgeous Lake Reba. Or maybe a little horse back riding at Deer Run Stables. Be sure to take in the deafening roar of stock car racing at the Richmond Raceway. If you need a little luck, then stop at the Daniel Boone statue on the grounds of the local campus and rub his boot for good luck. Students at EKU have done this continually for so many years, that the cooper continues to shine in only this one spot!
