Physical
Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech TherapyJobs in
Rhode Island
The smallest state in the union has over 400 miles of coastline,
hence the Ocean State. This exposure to the sea beckons boaters,
swimmers and anybody that loves what the sea has to offer
and the harvest from it: seafood. Lobster, clams, oysters,
and all types of fish are enjoyed in every form imaginable
throughout the state.
Rhode Island is known for having some very wealthy
visitors and residents – notably the Vanderbilts and
Astors. Rhode Island was settled in the 1800’s by immigrants
from Eastern Europe. They established factories and textile
mills that were the major industry until their decline in
the past 50 years.
A large portion of the public parks are
on the water’s edge, making access to the Atlantic very
easy. There is so much to see and do in America’s smallest
state, it is larger than meets the eye!
