colors abundant in Ontario.
The land is an example of contrasts - geological
formations such as vertical towers, pinnacles, and deep gorges.
Nature brushes vibrant colors across the sandstone cliffs
in hues of orange, red, pink and purple. In contrast again,
hearty vegetables such as russet potatoes, sugar beets, onions,
and mint are grown in Ontario.
Four rivers converge in Ontario –
the Snake, the Malheur, the Owyhee and the Payette Rivers.
To celebrate the diversity of the cultures, Ontario has the
Four Rivers Cultural Center. This Center is representative
of the people of different ancestries that have settled here
– American Indian, Hispanic, European, Japanese, and
Basque. The Cultural Center offers a museum, café,
gift shop, conference center, and a Japanese Garden.
