Souris Valley Golf Course, which is operated by the city,
Minot Country Club, Apple Grove Golf Course and Wildwood Golf
Course. In addition, there is a nine-hole golf course located
at Minot Air Force Base. NoDak Speedway and Dakota Flat Track
offer car racing enthusiasts an opportunity to race or be
a spectator in Sprint, Dakota Modified Late Model & Drag
Races. Hockey enthusiasts enjoy competition at all levels,
beginning in preschool and continuing through high school
and college, as well as league teams. If your into the shops
and museums take a visit to along Main Street, a revitalized
Downtown offers a delightful blend of art, gift, craft, clothing,
and specialty shops. Of for something bigger take a trip to
Town and Country Center and Arrowhead Shopping Center which
both feature professional health care services, restaurants
and retail stores, nicely complimenting the shopping opportunities
in Minot. Several other shopping areas and strip malls are
located throughout the city and on the major thoroughfares
of Burdick and Broadway. When your ready for some great eats
make sure you visit some great events that take place throughout
the year here at Minot, like Renaissance Christmas Feast in
December, Festival on Main and Street Dance which features
live bands, dancing and good food, or Festival of the Parks
which is an annual Fourth of July event with musical entertainment,
