Physical
Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech TherapyJobs in
Midwest City, Oklahoma
Located in central Oklahoma, Midwest City serves
as the retail center for Eastern Oklahoma County, and is close
to metropolitan Oklahoma City area amenities. Midwest City
is a community of 25 square miles with a population of approximately
55,000. The city's southern border is Tinker AFB with four
gates that lead directly onto the Base from Midwest City.
Midwest City is located approximately 10 miles from downtown
Oklahoma City, which is the largest city in Oklahoma, and
also broadens Midwest City's cultural environment for theater,
concerts and other forms of entertainment. Many state and
national organizations find Midwest City to be an ideal site
for conferences and special events because of the location
and the amenities. Residents and visitors enjoy beautiful
parks and nature trails, as well as recreational facilities
ranging from golf and tennis to swimming and racquetball.
The area's newest conference facilities are at Rose State
College's new Communications Center. In Midwest City today,
there are a number of changes, some complete and some still
in the process. We have added a Performing Arts Theater with
an outdoor amphitheater in Rose State College's new Communications
Center. Also new are the Oklahoma Welcome Center, Senior Center,
Water Park, and nature and recreational trails. For your convenience,
major intersections and roads have been widened to make the
area more accessible. All aspects of family living are present
in Midwest City. There is the distinct advantage of being
part of a friendly, smaller community with quiet neighborhoods,
close to schools, churches, parks and shopping. There is the
added advantage of being a part of a larger metropolitan area
for the wide variety of shopping and services which are readily
available. This is a friendly, enthusiastic and progressive
community which warmly welcomes newcomers; a community where
one can enjoy home and family without facing the daily problems
of commuting associated with "big city" living.
