Physical
Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech TherapyJobs in
Key West, Florida
When you think of Key West, you think of Ernest
Hemingway, warm tropical breezes, and partying at Sloppy Joe’s!
A good way to get an overview of the city is to take a Conch
Tour Train ride, which operates daily. The Ernest Hemingway
House Museum is a Spanish colonial style home that Hemingway
owned from 1931 until he committed suicide in 1961. You also
can take a haunted tour of Key West, which is a nightly, spooky
walking tour.
Flagler Station brings to life the history
of Henry Flagler’s railroad to Key West. The project
began in 1905, and at that time, Key West was the largest
city in the state of Florida. Because of the location of the
Keys, jutting out into the waters of the ocean, there have
been many shipwrecks off the coasts. The Key West Shipwreck
Historeum lets you relive the early days, as well as see artifacts
from shipwrecks. For history buffs, some of the old forts
and historical sites may be of special interest. Mallory Square
is the place to go in the evening for the Sunset Celebration,
which is a combination street carnival, art show, music festival,
and has many wonderful restaurants nearby.
