Physical
Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech TherapyJobs in
Grants Pass, Oregon
A temperate climate is one of the attractions
here in Grants Pass. The yearly mean temperature is 52 degrees!
If you enjoy water, Grants Pass is situated
midway between the mouth and the source of the Rogue River.
The Upper Rogue is a great spot for anglers to “hook
up” with salmon and steelhead. Also on the Rogue is
the 250 feet deep Hellgate Canyon, a scenic wonder. A narrow
rock cleft allows the river to rush through, providing a scenic
and exciting view for those wishing to kayak, jet boat or
raft on. The water is not limited to the land – the
skies open up to drop 30 inches of rain, on average, each
year!
Hiking the Rogue River Trail is a fabulous way
to enjoy the many waterfalls, rapids, plants, and wildlife.
It follows the river hundreds of feet above the water, providing
spectacular views. The trail is 40 miles one-way, so comfortable
hiking shoes are definitely in order!
The old downtown area of Grant’s
Pass has recently been designated a National Historic District.
This would be a great stop on your trip along Interstate 5
in Oregon or, you can make it your destination just as easily!
