with its white, sandy beaches and blue waters, to flowers,
gardens, and historical sites. Palm trees and lush foliage
cover the state, as well as many lakes, which provide water
fun for all. Everyone thinks of Disney World as a vacation
destination when considering Florida, and for family fun,
you can’t beat this state. Florida is a peninsula, surrounded
on three sides by water. Boating, diving, swimming, fishing,
and any water sport you can think of are plentiful and attract
people from all over the world. From space centers to golf
courses, to historical cities and art shows, Florida offers
something for everyone throughout the year. The weather is
warm in the summer and mild in the winter. Along the beaches
and near the water, temperatures are not as extreme as inland.
Florida is also an agricultural state with dairy, produce,
and of course, citrus fruit as some of the main economic influences.
