Physical
Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech TherapyJobs in
Belle Fourche, South Dakota
The name means “beautiful fork”, referring to
the fork in the Belle Fourche and Redwater rivers. This was
the scene of a range war between cattlemen and shepherds long
ago. Still a livestock center, Belle Fourche hosts one of
the best known rodeos in the West, the three day Black Hills
Roundup, which begins on July 4th. At the Tri-State Museum,
you’ll find interesting exhibits on local history and
pioneer artifacts, including a collection of over 400 dolls.
Next to the museum is the John Spaulding Cabin, a log cabin
built in 1876 by the first white man to establish a permanent
residence in the area.
